Dry, itchy, irritated skin can have many causes. Irritants such as poison ivy, sunburn, insect bites, allergic reactions, and dry weather are just a few examples. which numbs the sensitive area. There are a number of skin conditions that may also cause itch skin. These include Eczema, Psoriasis, Contact and Seborrheic Dermatitis, Athletes Foot, Jock Itch and Ringworm.
